Robin, an accredited mediator and barrister, offers a specialist dispute resolution, investigation and disciplinary service for FE, HE and other educational establishments.

Robin was previously the Chair of Barnfield College a high profile FE College in Luton. Robin was invited to become Chair after a period of significant disruption following a critical investigation into the organisation’s management, finances and governance.

Prior to this, Robin accrued over 10 years experience as a Governor at Barnet and Southgate College, a large FE College in North London with over 20,000 students and 750 staff. During this time he was a driver behind the migration to a Policy Governance model, participated in the £30m development of its flagship Wood Street Campus as well as the sale and relocation of its Colindale campus.

Robin was a Escalated Intervention Specialist for LSIS – Learning and Skills Improvement Service where he provided advisory services in relation to a large, high profile college insolvency – and a Board Member for the London North LSC – Learning and Skills Council. He has previously been instructed to advise a range of organisations including a high profile London University college in relation to employment investigations.

This industry experience coupled with dispute resolution and adjudication expertise is unique in the sector and allows Robin to assist organisations deal robustly with their pressing issues and get on with the more productive work of delivering high quality learning to students.

Robin will travel throughout the country to assist organisations wherever he can.
