note of appreciation… absolutely what I was hoping for…
I just wanted to send you a quick note of thanks for your sessions last week at [the] annual panellist training event.
For me, the sessions were absolutely what I was hoping for – so much discussion and interaction which is really valuable.
[We] will collate the feedback we’ve received from the panellists and I’m sure he’ll send you something more detailed, but I just wanted to send a note of appreciation.the best outcome I believe that I could have achieved…. a route that has avoided conflict with my professional regulator
“I would like to thank you for your help in this matter and I can only imagine where matters may have ended if I had taken the Tribunal path and called Mr X as a witness. You have been calm and taken a route that has avoided conflict with (my professional) regulations and it is the best outcome I believe that I could have achieved. There was a time when we first spoke, where I felt that the only option I had was to accept being struck off. I feel as though I am able to move forward a bit now. I genuinely hope that I never find myself in these circumstances again, but if I did, you would surely be my first point of contact. Once again thank and I wish you all the best for the future.”
His expertise, professionalism… was invaluable… eternally grateful… The final result was brilliant.
“Robin had a grasp of the situation I found myself in from the very first conversation. His expertise, professionalism and ability to explain the legal process in terms I could understand, was invaluable. I was dealing with a difficult situation where a Sporting Governing Body was not following their own defined procedures and processes and also not abiding by the rules of natural justice.I am eternally grateful for Robin’s clinical expertise, thoroughness, prompt communication, and his understanding of the situation left me feeling confident. The final result was brilliant.”
Exceeds competency
“Exceeds competency… Strengths have been noted across all competency areas… ability to grasp complex documentation, while making balanced and succinct decisions which were evidence based… effective contributions to in-camera discussions… ability to listen and challenge others politely, when it was appropriate… supportive approach in in-camera discussions with colleagues.”
service and care throughout has been exceptional and value for money… I cannot thank you enough
“Your service and care throughout has been exceptional and value for money and I would highly recommend you. Not only did you deliver your expertise at the hearing you guided me through one of the most difficult times of my life over the last 14 months from when I initially made contact with your offices. I cannot thank you enough you have been fantastic and I could not have asked for a better result! Thank you.”
Panel member feedback from 18/4/2013
“Outstanding – The Chair ensured all decisions and determinations were inclusive of all panel members views and contributions. He was particularly supportive of the new registrant panel member and made every effort to ensure the process was fully explained, allowing some time for debate and reflection at each stage.”
I thought he was excellent.
“I met with Robin Summerville yesterday. I thought he was excellent.”
Panel member feedback from 21/1/13
“Robin was very respectful of my role when it came to discussions.”
a testament to the positive and open way that this piece of work was approached
“The end result is a testament to the positive and open way that this piece of work was approached and the new Code of Conduct will go a long way towards driving up standards in the sector.”
Panel member feedback from 17/8/12
“Robin ensured that his input was constructive and well argued and did not impose his views on other panelists, but gave time for the points to be thought through.
Robin took particular care to ensure the Registrant, who was representing himself, understood the purpose and nature of each stage of the proceedings.
Robin created an environment where each panelists views were listened to with respect and thought about with great consideration.
Robin […] was clear about how to reach well reasoned decisions by giving people the time to express their views in an inclusive way.
Robin actively encouraged panelists to contribute to the reasoning of the written determination thus ensuring that it fully explained how we had reached our decision”
